SEAN CONNOLLY wrote and recited his stories in various cafes and bars in Pittsburgh, the Paris of Appalachia.

His novel, A Great Place To Die, was praised by the Times Book Review for the seductive lyricism of its narration and other critics have called his style, Prosetry, a forest of prose and a with few leaves of poetry.

His work has appeared in numerous literary journals, both in print and on the web, and his satirical commentaries on NPR have been broadcasted on All Things Considered, and can still he heard on radio stations on various Indian reservations.

He even adopted the robotic pen name, The Orbitology, to write his satirical account of religion, The Book Of Godom & Somorrah, still available on Amazon.

He maintained various websites since 2013, including theorbitology.com, thepaganauthors.com, xyzexecutions.com and xyztheauthors.com.

His two wives of old don’t talk to him anymore.

“Then everyone would ascend into heaven, a place quite superior to Thorn Prick Peak in that it possessed no bathrooms and no sex education classes. And no need for them since those bound to heaven shed all but their warm and fuzzy feelings.”

Sean became a cherished older brother until his return from Vietnam. His long arms kept me away and his door was seldom open to me. Yet I did follow some of his work at least the work he chose to invite me to know about.
His wit was ever present and his charms were his “ get out of jail” Card. In this game of Life, I wish he had used this Charm more often.

My favorite of all his work is the “ Minimalist series”. His short, clever wit gave me just enough of a chuckle to ponder a deeper meaning.

My bother Sean always and I sincerely mean always was poking and prodding me to think. His mind wanted me to see in several directions all at the same time yet he was always changing his vantage point.
In his own life he did show up. He was the Older brother who played such clever games, told wild tales and played practical jokes on everyone. He shared his own journey into the unknown. He signed up to serve his country when it was not popular to do so. He is remembered for the many times he did show up to help his family and friends.

Sean really deserves A good old fashion Irish a wake. This is a place where it can happen in words which he loved more than anything.
